Registry Supervisor (Analyst VII-S)

This is a full-time 100% career position as a Registry Supervisor (Analyst VII-S) with UC Davis Health System, located in Sacramento. Work hours and days are 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. This classification is not represented by a union.

This position will remain open until filled.

Responsibilities
• Provides program leadership and technical direction to team members and end users to ensure proper design, documentation, construction, and implementation of multiple, complex, national and local disease / patient registries.
• Directs, educates and mentors project and operation team analysts in research work flow, technical design, support and build of applications. Serves as resource to staff and project team to resolve unusual problems/situations.
• Recruits and hires new staff to the IT/Registry support organization following UCDHS approved recruiting policies and procedures
• Independently requests and manages work performed by registry stake-holders and outside departments to perform analysis and design activities required to fulfill project objectives.
• Assigns staff projects and tasks in a coordinated manner with respect to strategic and tactical objectives. Monitors and tracks progress toward meeting project deadlines and fulfilling stated requirements.


Requirements
• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of clinical data management practices and principles.
• Application of appropriate methods and tools to the systems development life cycle as related to research information systems including, but not limited to, registries, and interface engines.
• Comprehensive understanding of the capabilities, limitations and challenges of computer hardware/software applications and integration of multiple systems, utilizing a variety of interface tools and applications.
• Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple sources and analyze applicability and appropriateness, and develop an efficient work flow and subsequent computerized process.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and apply new and upgraded computerized systems to job responsibilities.
• May design and monitor technology-enabled organizational change.
• Health Informatics experience in an academic medical center, government agency, or large hospital system is preferred.

   If I were interested on finding a job related to computers I would like to work on something related to registry supervisor. I think it is an interesting job position.
